This is a tuckpointing project that we completed on a brick wall in the Lincolnshire, Il area. The brick wall served as a great enclosure around this Lincolnshire area home, however years of natural use and weather had started to erode and wash away the mortar and bricks that were holding it together. This not only detracted from the appearance of this otherwise beautiful brick home but it also created potentially severe structural integrity problems that if left unchecked would eventually make this brick wall crumble away. We were asked to perform a tuckpointing repair on these bricks to bring them back to their best condition. In order to start our tuckpointing project on this Lincolnshire area home’s brick wall we will first have to grind down all the damaged bricks and mortar to create a space for the new materials which we will apply during the tuckpointing process.
