Delta - Masonry and Tuckpointing crew performing professional masonry work in Chicagoland

Delta - Masonry and Tuckpointing has been Chicagoland's trusted masonry contractor since 1987, owned and operated by Filip Pindral. We don't subcontract. We don't cut corners. Every project is completed by our own licensed crew using ASTM-compliant materials.

From tuckpointing historic North Shore homes to commercial masonry restoration, we bring the same standard to every job: do it right, do it once. 2,800+ projects later, that standard hasn't changed.

Our team specializes in the specific challenges of Chicagoland masonry: freeze-thaw damage, lake effect moisture, aging mortar joints, and the diverse architectural styles found across the North Shore and Lake County.

Filip Pindral

Owner, Delta - Masonry and Tuckpointing

Filip is the third generation of his family working masonry. He owns and operates Delta from Libertyville. Delta has served Chicagoland since 1987; the family's craft tradition runs decades longer. Filip walks each major job before the estimate is signed, and again before the truck pulls away. The line at (847) 713-1648 reaches him directly. No call center.

The Chicago metropolitan area runs 80 to 100 freeze-thaw cycles per winter. Lake Michigan's moisture engine drives east-facing walls harder than most of the country experiences. A century of Chicago masonry styles, from soft 1910 common brick on Wilmette bungalows to dense 1970s face brick to limestone facades on North Shore Tudor revivals, each demand a different mortar composition. The work starts with matching the original. Wrong mortar on right brick causes more damage than the original deterioration.

The standard is uniform across projects: ASTM-compliant materials, joint depth measured rather than estimated, brick removed and replaced rather than face-coated, mortar tooled by hand, color matched before the wall is touched. Type N for soft brick, Type S where structural strength is required, lime mortar for pre-1920 historic work. "Do it right, do it once" is not a slogan. It is the only standard that holds for 39 years.

Delta operates from Libertyville. The crew lives in Lake County and Cook County. They drive the same streets they restore. When a Winnetka homeowner calls about her grandmother's bungalow, the crew showing up grew up looking at houses like it. That is not a marketing line. It is the operational structure.
